Working Principle And Characteristics Of Planetary Gears

Transmission combination

In the gear system containing the planetary gear, the transmission principle is different from the fixed axis gear. Because there are planetary racks, there are three rotating shafts to allow power input/output, and can also be used to limit the rotation of one of the shafts when needed, and only two shafts are left for transmission when needed. Therefore, there are many combinations between the relationship between the meshing gears:

(1) Power input from the solar wheel, output from the outer gear, and the planet stand is locked through the mechanism;

(2) Input of power from the solar wheel, output from the planet stand, the outer gear locks;

(3) Input power from the planetary rack, output from the sun wheel, the outer gear locks;

(4) Enter power from the planetary rack, output from the outer gear, and the solar wheels are locked;

(5) Input the power from the outer gear, output from the planetary rack, the solar wheel is locked;

(6) Input the power from the outer gear, output from the solar wheel, the planet frame is locked;

(7) The two motivation is input from the solar wheel and the outer gear, and the output from the planetary rack after synthesis;

(8) The two power inputs from the planetary rack and the solar wheel, and the output from the outer gear after synthesis;

(9) The two motivation is input from the planetary rack and the outer gear.

(10) Input power from the solar wheel, divide the two roads from the outer gear and the planetary rack;

(11) Input power from the planetary rack, divide the two roads from the solar wheel and the outer gear;

(12) Input of power outer tooth feet, divide the two roads from the solar wheel and planetary rack output.


Motion characteristics

According to the above combination, the movement characteristics of the simple planet gear mechanism can be summarized into the following points:

(1) When the planetary rack is a subject piece, it runs speedy from the moving part.

(2) When the planetary rack is the moving part, the planet stand will inevitably decrease than the initiative.

(3) When the planetary rack is fixed, the aortware and the moving parts are rotated in the opposite direction.

(4) When the solar wheels are initiative, the speed from the moving part will inevitably decrease.

(5) If the planetary rack is used as a passive piece, its rotation direction is in the same direction as the initiative.

(6) If the planetary rack is used as a initiative, the rotation direction of the moving part is the same as it.

(7) In simple planetary gear mechanisms, the number of solar wheels has the least number of teeth, and the number of equivalent teeth of the planet frame is the most. The number of tooth tooth teeth is in the middle. (Note: The number of equivalent tooth of the planetary frame = the number of teeth of dozens of gear tooth tooth tooth.)

(8) If any two components in the planetary gear mechanism rotate at the same speed, the speed and direction of the third component must be the same as the previous two, that is, the mechanism locks, becoming a direct file. (This is a very important feature.)

(9) There are only one initiator and two other parts are not fixed, and they are in an empty gear at this time.
