Classification Of Shaft

Oct 05, 2022

Common shafts can be divided into crankshafts, straight axes, soft shafts, solid shafts, hollow shafts, and deflated shafts (soft shafts) according to the structural shape of the shaft. The straight axis can be divided into: ① turning shaft, which is both bent and torque at work. It is the most common axis in machinery, such as shafts in various reducers. ② The staple shaft is used to support the rotating parts only to withstand the bending moment without passing torque. Some of the heart shaft rotate, such as the axis of the railway vehicle, etc. Some heart axis do not rotate, such as the axis of the support of the pulley. ③ The transmission shaft is mainly used to convey torque without being bent, such as the long light shaft in the crane mobile mechanism, the driving shaft of the car, etc. The material of the shaft mainly uses carbon steel or alloy steel, and can also be used in ink cast iron or alloy cast iron. The working ability of the shaft generally depends on strength and stiffness, and when the speed is high, it also depends on vibration stability.
